Take your felling skills to the next level by learning how to safely and confidently tackle medium-sized trees (up to 760 mm in diameter).

This course explores advanced cutting techniques, the safe felling of larger timber, and the use of mechanical winches to deal with hung-up trees and assist directional felling.

Candidates will also develop a deeper understanding of emergency planning, relevant legislation, risk assessment, and the planning required to carry out complex felling operations safely and efficiently.
